The arms are best trained AFTER other bodyparts. The triceps, for example, are best trained after the chest, since you use your
triceps to do chest movements such as the bench press. The biceps are best
trained after pulldown exercises, since they assist in those
movements.
It is a bad idea to train arms by themselves. Although
it may be tempting, understand that if you train your triceps by themselves you
cannot then go and train your chest since you will not be able to use your
triceps to assist in chest movements.
The best way to train is to
do compound movements that involve the arms first, then do a few isolation
